A stroke of luck

It wasn’t too long ago that I was fortunate enough to find an old cheap acoustic guitar in my mother’s basement. I then learned that she at one time had taken lessons, but now, twenty years later, she has no idea how to play. I asked if I could use it, and she said it was fine. After I replaced the srings, I signed up for some guitar lessons, and have been learning to play more and more ever since. I’m so glad I found that guitar in the basement, because it has added so much more to my life to be able to play such a great instrument. I hope to own one of my own someday.
