What is this red area on my arm?

I went to the doctor after I had woken up three times already with a mysterious itchy rash on my body in different areas no less. I had no idea what could be causing it and had to get an opinion in case I had developed a major allergy to something I ate or wore. I could of even been my new detergent though I had been using it already for two weeks. I found out though when the doctor looked at it, that I had a real hard job on my hands. I had a bed bug rash and this meant complete emptying of my rooms and cleaning everything one by one, looking for bugs and eggs.
