Soccer In The Sun

It was the final of my son’s state championship soccer tournament, and I think I was probably more excited about the day than he was. It was an especially hot day, and the sun was beating down on the field, tiring our boys out quicker than usual. When the game ended in a tie, the shootout began. My son was the goalie, and it was obvious that he couldn’t see very well because of the son. I ran back to the minivan and grabbed some Sport Sunglasses I bought him several years ago. He put them on and shortly thereafter saved two shots to lead his team to victory.
